To the Bosnian Community of Regina,
On behalf of my City Council colleagues and the City of Regina, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the celebration of Bosnian Independence Day on March 1st.
This significant date is a reflection of the unwavering spirit of the Bosnian people, who expressed their determination for self-governance and independence through a democratic referendum. The international recognition of Bosnia and Herzegovina as the 177th member of the United Nations on this day further solidified its place in the global community, and stands as a beacon of hope, freedom, and unity.
As we honor this momentous occasion, let us celebrate the rich cultural heritage, the enduring strength and the remarkable contributions of the Bosnian community here in Regina. I want to acknowledge the
vibrant Bosnian community here in Regina. Your community's rich cultural heritage, traditions, and contributions have greatly enriched the social fabric of our city. From culture, music and dance to the delicious cuisine, the Bosnian community adds a unique and cherished dimension to our diverse and multicultural society.
Let us honor this special day by celebrating the shared values of peace, prosperity, and unity. The Bosnian community's resilience, strength, and commitment to preserving its heritage while embracing
new opportunities inspire us all.

Bosanskoj zajednici Regina,
U ime mojih kolega iz Gradskog vijeća i Grada Regine, upućujem iskrene čestitke povodom Dana nezavisnosti BiH.
Ovaj značajan datum je odraz nepokolebljivog duha bosanskog naroda koji je iskazao svoj opredjeljenje za samoupravu i nezavisnost putem demokratskog referenduma.
Medjunarodno priznanje Bosne i Hercegovine kao 177. članice Ujedinjenih je dodatno učvrstio svoje mjesto u globalnoj zajednici i predstavlja svjetionik nade, slobode i jedinstva.
Poštujući ovu značajnu priliku, proslavimo bogato kulturno naslijeđe, trajnu snagu i izuzetan doprinos bosanske zajednice u Regini. Oaken priznanje bosanskoj zajednici ovdje u Regini. Bogata kulturna baština vaše zajednice, tradicija i doprinosi su uvelike obogatili društveno tkivo našeg grada. Od kulture, muzike i plesa do ukusnom kuhinjom, bosanska zajednica dodaje jedinstvenu i cijenjenu dimenziju našoj raznolikoj i
multikulturalno društvo.
