RESULTS OF THE RESEARCH BY THE COMMISSION AND THE WORKING GROUP (OF THE REPUBLIKA SRPSKA GOVERNMENT) RELATED T THE EVENT IN AND AROUND SREBRENICA IN 10-19 JULY 1995

The Working group, just like the Commission for Srebrenica, achieved remarkable results:
– First, it established the number and identity of “members/participants in these events in and around Srebrenica in 10 – 19 July 1995”, that is, members/participants who committed the crime of genocide. The number exceeded 25,000 persons, including “those persons who were personally responsible for specific events in and around Srebrenica, including those who had issued orders and direct perpetrators”;
– second, it established the structure of members/participants in the commission of crimes, in which, in addition to members of the Republika Srpska Army and the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior, the units of the Yugoslav Army participated as well, then units of the Republic of Serbia Ministry of Interior (“Scorpions”, under the command of Slobodan Medić, and others, including members of the State Security Service under the command of Vasilij Mijović), mixed company of the joint forces of the Ministries of Interior of “Republika Serbian Krajina” /from Croatia/, “Republika Srpska”, and the Republic of Serbia, then other units from Serbia and volunteers, particularly from Greece, etc.
– third, it established the number of persons who were, in March 2005, on leading positions within the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, entities, and municipalities (SIPA, OSA, DGS, Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of Defense, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Defense, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior, Judicial police, Misdemeanor courts, municipalities, etc.), who took part in the events in and around Srebrenica in 10 – 19 July 1995. The number is 892 persons.
