Institute for Research of Genocide Canada Presents Monthly Movie Nights
The Golden Boys
Starting October 26th, 2013 the Institute For Research Of Genocide Canada (IGC) will be organizing monthly movie/documentary screenings highlighting social/political/human rights issues as well as positive initiatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our aim is to present an issue and highlight it through a movie/documentary with hopes that it will spark a debate afterwards. Our very first Documentary screening will be Ensar Altay’s the Golden Boys. This is an amazing documentary profiling Bosnia’s Paralympic… team in sitting volleyball and their journey to the 2012 Paralympic games. In addition to the screening we will hold an informal discussion about disability rights and issues faced by people with disabilities in Bosnia. The documentary is in Bosnian with English Subtitles and it is open to all. Please RSVP to the event so we can plan for refreshments. Also please share with you friends. Hope to see you then!
