Carlos Robert Steiner, a veteran of the Canadian Army, who, in 1993, as a soldier of UNPROFOR, was stationed in positions around Srebrenica, in Geneva for several months leading a legal battle for the truth about the suffering of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosniaks. With all the evidence in his possession, Steiner decided to sue the government of Canada for discrimination by members of the Canadian battalion against the Bosniaks in Srebrenica.
