We kindly invite you to the Presentation and Fundraising dinner for the First International Srebrenica Memorial and Learning Centre in London, UK, which will take place on Friday, Dec 6th, 7 pm, at the Bosnian Islamic Assoc. ‘Gazi Husrev beg’ Toronto. (122 North Queen St., Toronto (Etobicoke), On M8Z 2E4). The presentation will be held by our distinguished guest from the UK, Dr. Waqar Azmi OBE, Chairman of Remembering Srebrenica and member of the International Expert Team of the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada. Waqar Azmi OBE is listed in the world’s 500 most influential Muslims by Georgetown University, as well as the Asian power 100 list of the most influential Asians in the UK and, the Muslim power 100 List of the most influential Muslims in the UK. He is UK Government’s former Chief Diversity Adviser at the Cabinet Office and EU Ambassador of Intercultural Dialogue. He is founder & chairman of Remembering Srebrenica. The aim of the Presentation is to build connections and network to help raise funds for the world’s first International Srebrenica Memorial and Learning Centre. Tickets of $50 per person can be purchased in Bosnian mosques. All revenue from tickets will go for the Centre.
